Back from Breckenridge

We had such a good time on our week long vacation to Colorado! It had been several years since we had made the trip so we were ready to be back! We had a few stops to make before heading to the slopes; Visit Jeremy's Dad in Denver, stop by The University of Colorado in Boulder to see my cousin Karen, try a few Colorado microbreweries and do a little winter shopping! :)

Here are a few photos & video from our phones for a preview. Below is a photo of us riding the chair lift headed to that small black dot on the tip top of the mountain! This is the highest chair lift in North America and it goes to the bowl at Breckenridge. Where are the trees?!? At 13,000ft the trees can not grow because the lack of oxygen. There are also no ski runs - just open free for all!
Jeremy & I after skiing about halfway down - come to find out it was a double black diamond!
I am glad I made it down alive!
The next morning Jeremy went right back up to the bowl and took a video of where we were. As you can see/not see (ha!) the visibility is very low - it can be dark, very windy and lots of snow!
